Who would like breakfast with Father Christmas?

| November 19, 2012 | 0 Comments

On Saturday 8th December, from 8.15am till 9.30am, and Sunday 9th December, from 8.45am till 10.00am, children in Jersey will have the chance to enjoy breakfast with Father Christmas and his furry friends!  He will be taking a break from his hectic schedule in Lapland and making a special visit, just for the weekend, to the upstairs café in de Gruchy department store.

His visit will provide those children who have been really good this year with the opportunity to tell him first-hand what they would like him to put in their stockings on Christmas Eve.  He will also be joined by a special furry friend from Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust – de Gruchy’s charity of choice for 2012 – and together they will help raise valuable funds to contribute to the ongoing conservation work undertaken by the Trust.

Children who come along will enjoy a healthy breakfast box whilst being given the chance to meet Father Christmas.  No child will leave empty handed, as he will also be giving every child an early Christmas gift to take home.

Everyone will have the chance to get into the Christmas Spirit with a programme of live entertainment planned.  Prizes will be up for grabs for a number of competitions including the ‘Lucky seat’ game.

Tickets cost £5 per child, with all proceeds going to Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. There will be a limit of 50 children per day and tickets will be on sale from 24th November from the Children’s Wear department in de Gruchy’s.
