Vote now – only ten days to go!!

The Jersey public has only a week and a half left to vote for their Customer Service Heroes. Several hundred nominations have already been received but there is still time to get your votes in. Nominations close on Friday 28 September and judging takes place the following week.

The event, sponsored by HSBC and supported by the Jersey Chamber of Commerce and 103FM, is in its second year and numbers of nominations have surpassed all expectations.

Votes have been received for people in all nine award categories and organisers have been amazed at the wide range of businesses represented in the nominations so far:

“Nominees work in an incredibly diverse range of companies” says Julie Todd, of event organisers Todd and Associates.

“When we talk about ‘customer service’ our first thoughts often turn to the retail sector, which is certainly well represented in the voting. But what’s really exciting is that there are lots of other types of organisations whose employees have been put forward – judging this will be tough!”

Any companies wishing to enter one or several of the corporate categories which are new this year can download the entry form and guidance notes from the Customer Awards website. Submissions for these categories again must be received by 28 September 2012.

The Awards ceremony will take place in Royal Square on Friday 5 October at 5.30pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along to see who walks away with the prizes, and to find out if their nominee wins the coveted title of the overall 2012 Jersey Customer Service Award winner.
