Training courses the focus for open day

The GTA University Centre is holding an open day in Jersey on Tuesday 12 June to showcase a range of courses aimed at professionals.

The session will focus on courses of particular interest to people in Jersey; the MSc in Corporate Governance, the MBA, the Institute of Directors Accelerated Certificate, Chartered Institute of Marketing certificates and diplomas, Prince Project management and the Certificate in Professional PA and Secretarial Skills.

Chris Edwards, Head of Postgraduate Programmes at the GTA University Centre said: “The open day is an opportunity for people in Jersey to find out more about the courses on offer at the GTA that we offer pan-island or in conjunction with our partners in Jersey.

“Training and development are becoming more critical to successful businesses and the courses we offer can help people learn new skills and develop their businesses and careers.”

Staff from the CIM and the GTA will be available to discuss these study opportunities at the Grand Jersey, St Helier, during two sessions on the 12 June. The lunchtime session runs between 12.00–2.00pm and the afternoon session 4.00–6.00pm.
