Paul Milon, a consultant at C5 Alliance Group, recently returned from an intensive Microsoft Office 365 course in Sweden where he obtained the highest scores in both of the course’s examinations.
The course was delivered over four days with more than twelve hours of training content each day. Mr Milon is now a recognised MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) in Office 365 and currently thought to be the only individual in the Channel Islands to hold this qualification.
Paul currently manages C5’s internal systems, provides support for clients and is the company’s foremost expert in Office 365.
“The course really helped to consolidate my existing knowledge. I had a lot of experience with Office 365 already which I had gained through self-study, real world experience and web based training. The course has helped me fill in gaps and discover new components that are not being fully utilised in many businesses,” said Mr Milon.
“Having an official accreditation is very important. It instils confidence in clients, knowing that you have been recognised as an expert and are fully aware of the benefits and limitations of the product you are advising and supporting on,” he said.
Microsoft Office 365 is a platform that can deliver the power of cloud productivity to businesses of all sizes. It allows anywhere access to Microsoft communications and collaboration services such as Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft Lync Online.
It can particularly benefit small to medium-sized businesses that want a cost-effective, enterprise level email, document and collaboration solution without complex infrastructure and on-premise servers. It also eliminates the need for maintenance of server hardware and operating systems, allowing businesses to focus on delivering value and efficiency.
“Office 365 is becoming a very popular solution, owing to the familiarity of the Microsoft Office suite and its scope for scalability in line with a growing business. It is great news that our resident expert is now fully qualified and we are very impressed with his top exam results,” said Rob Leader, Managing Director of C5 Alliance Group.
C5 Alliance Group now has more than 170 employees across its IT services and business solutions divisions and continues to invest in training and development ensuring the deepest and broadest expertise in the Channel Islands.
