The team at Bohemia had an early Christmas present this week as Steve Smith @ Bohemia received a rave review in the 2014 Harden’s Restaurant Guide.
The Michelin starred restaurant was awarded the highest rating in Jersey and Channel Islands and Steve Smith @ Bohemia is now rated on a par with UK heavyweight restaurants such as Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons and the Waterside Inn.
The respected guide which is published this month describes Steve Smith as “really hitting the ground running” following his recent arrival at Bohemia in Jersey and pronounces, “his five different tasting menus are out of this world!”
Taking top marks for both food and service, which are rated as “exceptional” by the guide, Bohemia also scored highly on ambiance with a rating of “very good.”
Lawrence Huggler owner of Bohemia commented “Receiving this great review in Harden’s 2014 with top marks for food and service which ranks Steve Smith @ Bohemia alongside some of the top names in the UK really helps us to keep pushing Jersey as a top food destination. We are delighted to continue to attract new customers to the Island as they recognise Jersey as a fabulous luxury destination for gastronomic breaks.
For this announcement to follow so soon after achieving a top score in The Good Food Guide 2014 and retaining our Michelin star status, is a fantastic boost and really cements Steve Smith @ Bohemia as one of the top restaurants in the UK.”
