Simon Calder to visit Jersey on 20 June

Simon Calder, The Independent’s Travel Editor and a popular expert on BBC and Sky News, will be visiting Jersey on Wednesday 20 June.

Mr Calder is the guest speaker at the CONNECTion Breakfast series, held at the Grand Hotel and Spa and organised by Todd and Associates.

He will be speaking about Jersey as a tourist destination, and how the island is perceived in the eyes of the travelling world. He will also be touching on the subject of the airline industry and the links to Jersey.

Simon Calder is the Senior Travel Editor of The Independent. He also writes for Conde Nast Traveller magazine, High Life (B.A.’s in-flight magazine) and Travel Trade Gazette.

Simon is regularly interviewed on TV about travel stories and events. He is a frequent guest on BBC Breakfast News, Daybreak, ITV News and Sky News. He is also the presenter of Fast Track’s Travel Clinic on BBC World.
