Renowned economist Danny Quah to discuss ‘Investing in the ASAEN dream’ at Rathbones speaker breakfast on 26 September
Rathbones Investment Management International (Rathbones) is pleased to present the latest in their series of speaker breakfast events – ‘Investing in the ASEAN dream.’
Pre-eminent economist Danny Quah will lead the discussion at the Royal Yacht Hotel on Thursday 26 September 2013.
Danny is a professor of economics at the LSE and a senior fellow at LSE IDEAS. He is a leading specialist on the global economy, economic growth and development, and international economic relations. Danny is a thought leader in key macroeconomic issues, such as the impact of the financial crisis and the growth of emerging economies. In particular, his work looks at the eastward drift of global economic activity and the implications of such an ongoing shift.
Rathbones investment director Peter Lucas will add to the debate, discussing the current investment themes in these areas.
As this breakfast seminar falls within the week of ‘Jersey’s Greatest Coffee Morning’, Rathbones will be donating the cost of a coffee for each person attending the event directly to Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey).
Now in its third year Jersey’s Greatest Coffee Morning is an annual fundraising event, which sees businesses and individuals across the island host charity coffee mornings to raise awareness and funds for Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey).
