RBC Wealth Management has been recognised as having the ‘Best Private Banking Services Overall’ in Jersey, and number one in 13 further categories, by Euromoney, a global banking publication.

The Euromoney Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey is regarded as one of the leading rankings for the global wealth management industry, and its results are based primarily on a peer ranking methodology.

This is the second time that RBC Wealth Management has been recognized as top on the Island by the Euromoney survey, having received the same accolade in 2010. The business also recognised as the best among its peers in 13 further categories this year, including: trust services for the fifth year running; inheritance and succession planning for third year in a row; offshore services for the second year in a row; range of investment products; and for services provided to high net worth and ultra high net worth clients with investable assets from $1m to over $30m.

The Euromoney success follows the recent announcement that RBC Wealth Management was named ‘Channel Islands Private Bank of the Year’ at the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards late last month.

Stuart Rutledge, CEO, RBC Wealth Management – British Isles and Caribbean, commented: “This industry recognition is indicative of the client-led approach that we have placed at the heart of our business over the past half-century in Jersey. Prestigious awards like these aren’t won by chance, but by continued hard work and ongoing commitment from our professionals towards serving our clients.”

In addition, RBC Wealth Management also received the ‘Best Private Banking Services Overall’ award for its offering in Canada for an unprecedented seventh consecutive year, the Caribbean for the fifth year in a row, and the Cayman Islands for the third year running. In the UK, it was named top provider of trust services for the second year in a row.

Commenting on this global success George Lewis, group head, RBC Wealth Management & RBC Insurance said: “This recognition by our peers is a testament to the pride and care we take in enabling the success of our clients by providing them with trusted advice and a truly world-class experience. As the sixth largest wealth manager in the world, we are able to bring a depth and breadth of global capabilities from across RBC for the benefit of our clients.”
