Ravenscroft Stockbroking and Investment Management, the Channel Islands-based investment services group, has appointed Haydn Taylor Chief Executive Officer of its Jersey operation.
Haydn has more than 30 years’ stockbroking and banking experience in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Haydn was previously at Standard Bank, where he was Managing Director of the Stockbroking and Asset Management business as well as having responsibility for the Private and Corporate Banking businesses. Prior to joining Standard Bank, Haydn began his career with Trevor Matthews & Carey Stockbrokers, later Hoare Govett Channel Islands, following which he was a founder of Brown Shipley Stockbroking which became part of the Standard Bank Group in 1992. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute.
In his new role as Chief Executive Officer at Ravenscroft in Jersey, Haydn will focus on further developing the company’s relationships with trust companies and independent financial advisors, as well as developing the firm’s high net worth business with both local and international private clients.

Ravenscroft employs over 40 people across the Channel Islands. Haydn has taken on a number of voluntary positions with local charities. He is a former Treasurer of the Jersey Association of Youth and Friendship Appeals Committee and has recently been appointed Chair of the British Heart Foundation, Jersey Branch.
