Rathbone Investment Management (Rathbones) has reached the Incisive Media Gold Standard for Discretionary Portfolio Management at the Incisive Media Gold Standard Awards 2012. The award was presented by Jonathan Evans MP at the House of Commons on 21 November.
Now in their ninth year, the awards are aimed at financial services companies and take into account financial strength and assess attributes such as capability to conduct business, fair value, as well as service standards clients can expect. The awards are designed to identify companies that not only have strong structures and procedures in place, but are going above and beyond standard business practices to promote trust in the financial services sector. As such, this year’s awards more than ever incorporated the principles of Treating Customers Fairly.
This award comes on the back of Rathbone Investment Management’s ‘Investment Manager of the Year Award’ at the Charity Times awards in October.
Commenting on the award, Jonathan Giles, managing director at Rathbone Investment Management International said:
“This award reflects the hard work of the entire Rathbone group and we are pleased that it places such emphasis on our values of first class investment management and high quality client service. In an industry that is increasingly automated and models-based, we believe in giving clients direct access to the person managing their money. The Gold Standard underlines our ongoing commitment to our clients.”
