On Thursday 27th September, the annual ladies clothes swap once again takes place at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel to raise vital funds for Jersey Shelter Trust.

The high street window displays sparkle with Autumn / Winter collections as many of us are packing away summer dresses and looking forward to wrapping up in soft knitwear. The team at the Radisson Blu offer the perfect evening for you to swap some of last year’s favourites with like minded thrifty fashion fans, treat yourself to a new wardrobe staple and socialise over afternoon tea – combining fun and fashion all in aid of a great cause.

The idea is simple, bring along your good quality clothes and accessories and swap them for new pieces brought to the swap by other fashionistas. Research suggests the average woman buys half her body weight in clothing a year and also gets rid of a similar amount in the same period, this is your chance to get your hands on those unwanted items, spruce up your summer wardrobe for next year and bag some new hot winter pieces.

Entry is just £5 on the door, with all money going to Jersey Shelter Trust and World Childhood Foundation. In addition to the clothes swap; there will also be mini manicures courtesy of Visage Salon; scrumptious afternoon tea, and the chance to have your jewellery professionally cleaned by Jersey Goldsmiths.

Two hours of swapping starts from 6pm and good quality clothes ready for exchange can be swapped for tokens at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel reception any time before 5pm on the day of the event.
