A new exclusive partnership, that brings together hardware and mobile network specialists, will see Airtel-Vodafone services available in the two Beyond Computers outlets; at The Powerhouse Retail Park and their store on Don Street.

The partnership will combine the mobile device knowledge and experience of the Beyond Computers team with the global network expertise of Airtel-Vodafone at a time when the trend is for customers moving away from a reliance on fixed line technology and embracing the potential power offered by the latest mobile connected devices.

Ian Campbell, Chief Operating Officer for Airtel-Vodafone, said: ‘Mobile connectivity means more than simply handsets. iPads and Tablets are rapidly signalling the demise of the conventional PC. Innovations in mobile device technology herald a new kind of connecting that requires a new kind of expertise. We bring that expertise and the security of a global telecoms brand, while both of us are committed to offering the very best value to our customers.’

Airtel-Vodafone will be training Beyond Computers staff in the various network services such as contracts, Pay-as-you-go and SIMs whilst at busier times Airtel-Vodafone will provide additional staff in both stores.

Alan Teeling, Manager of Beyond Computers, said: ‘One of our key strengths is that our staff can offer a wealth of knowledge about mobile devices in person; something that sets us apart from the online competition. This new partnership with Airtel-Vodafone will bring their specialist mobile network expertise into our stores to enhance the current offering to our customers.’
