Tailor made and luxury travel specialists Travel Solutions’ new office in Bromley Kent, was officially opened last week by The Worshipful The Mayor of the London Borough of Bromley, Councillor Ernest Noad, at an ‘open house’ for clients. The Mayor was presented with an engraved miniature Guernsey Can to commemorate the occasion, and enjoyed some Guernsey Gâche and butter.
Headquartered in Guernsey, Travel Solutions has a total of 28 staff across five offices across the UK and Channel Islands (Bristol, Bromley, Guernsey, Jersey – having purchased Premier Travel in St Helier in 2012 – and Oxford), and has had a presence in the Bromley area since February 2012, when it took over an existing travel agency.
Previously located in the same road, Travel Solutions chose the new, larger, premises because of their size and position, and the flexibility of the landlord. This has enabled the company to stamp its trademark style on the decoration, which is complemented by funky accessories.
The Bromley office has a Manager, two further leisure consultants and a Business Travel Consultant.
Travel Solutions is recognised as one of the top agencies in the country with Azure Collection and Caribtours, and the latter were in attendance for the official opening, as were representatives from tour operator Titan, Hand Picked Hotels, and from Aurigny, with which Travel Solutions has strong links.
“As an independent company, we will always look for the best holiday and/or operator for the client,” explained Director, Fred Eulenkamp. “Our consultants are widely experienced, and travelled, and we are lucky to have expert and first-hand knowledge of many top end destinations.”
Travel Solutions also specialises in corporate and group travel, with these services being offered through each of the five offices. Investment in a networked telephone system means these enquiries can quickly be channelled to the right place.
In the community, Travel Solutions endeavours to have a sporting connection through every branch. In addition to being group travel partner for Guernsey Football Club, and for many other Channel Island sporting groups, the company has links with Gillingham FC, Oxford Rugby Club, and Bristol City FC. In addition, the company assisted with group travel for Sussex County Cricket Club last year. Travel Solutions is currently engaged in fund raising for the Pink Ladies here in Guernsey, via both a charity ball to be held in November, and a Premiership football-related competition (proceeds from the latter will also benefit Guernsey FC). In Jersey the company is currently working with the Jersey Sports Council and has offered a £500 bursary to assist with travel for the next sporting season.
“We very much enjoy being part of the community in which every office is situated, and hope our clients will love our new office as much as we do,” concludes Mr Eulenkamp.
