The doors of 16 New Street will reopen for Christmas at the end of November, with Saturday and Thursday evening openings and a series of exciting festive activities for all ages.
Visitors will be able to step back in time to enjoy the magical Christmas of times past, amidst traditional decorations and candlelight, soak up the festive atmosphere and have a taste of period recipes in the working Georgian kitchen.
Each Saturday Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge will host Christmas Story Telling for children, and candlelit tours will be taking place on Tuesday nights. There will also be musical and choral events and the National Trust shop will be selling a wide selection of unique gifts, greetings cards and wrapping paper that are perfect for Christmas.
16 New Street museum and shop will be open each Saturday from 1st until 22nd December, between 10am & 5pm, and the shop only, for late night shopping on Thursday evenings from 29th November until 20th December, between 4 & 8pm.
Museum admission: Adults £5, Children £3, Under 10s and NT Members are free
