Offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes, has recruited David Byrne as global Head of Business Development & Marketing.
David brings a wealth of experience of the legal and financial services sectors gained in senior, international roles at Clifford Chance and Linklaters, two of the world’s leading law firms, and at Barclays Bank Plc. At Clifford Chance, he was Global Head of Business Development for Finance & Capital Markets and at Linklaters he held the position of Head of Marketing for Finance & Projects. Before his career in legal services, David spent 10 years in senior business development, product development and marketing roles at Barclays; spanning the private equity, private client and offshore sectors. His roles have covered a broad range of markets including Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Caribbean.

David, who has recently co-authored a book on Global Marketing Leadership Strategies, will be based in Mourant Ozannes’ Jersey office with responsibility for a Business Development and Marketing Team spanning the firm’s offices in BVI, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey and London.
