Mourant du Feu & Jeune relocates London office to the former Stock Exchange building

Gareth RigbyJersey News, 23 November 2009 – Mourant du Feu & Jeune, a leading offshore law firm, has relocated its London office to the former Stock Exchange building on Old Broad Street.

Mourant was the first Channel Islands law firm to establish a presence in London almost ten years ago, and the office, which practices Cayman Islands and Jersey law, has grown to become one of the City’s largest offshore practices.

Managing Partner, Jonathan Rigby, said: “London is an extremely important market for Mourant and we are very confident in its future as a global finance centre.  The move to larger premises in a landmark building demonstrates our commitment to providing offshore legal services from the heart of the City to our many London-based clients and intermediaries.”

The new offices will accommodate future growth in response to client demand.”

125 Old Broad Street occupies a prominent position between Liverpool Street and Bank stations, close to the Bank of England. It has undergone a major renovation since the London Stock Exchange moved headquarters in 2004 making it one of the most iconic buildings in the heart of the City.
