The Listening Post is a new service within Jersey General Hospital which commences on Tuesday 21 January. This will give the general public the opportunity to voice their opinions, concerns or make suggestions informally to help provide Islanders attending the Hospital with the best possible experience.
A group of volunteers, co-ordinated by former nurse Veronica Filleul, has been formed. The group is made up of dedicated and trained ‘listeners’, who will take on board feedback about any aspect of Hospital services, whether positive or negative.
The Listening Post Group will look into the issues or concerns, which will then be escalated through to Hospital management, with responses fed back via Listening Post volunteers and through quarterly Newsletters.
