Liberation Group are strengthening their line up with the launch of a new beer in time for the Six Nations Championship this weekend.
The much anticipated rugby union tournament will kick off at 2.30pm on Saturday with Wales taking on Italy shortly followed by France versus England at 5pm. If things start to get a little heated, beer drinkers in Liberation Pubs will be able to take some time to cool off with Sin Bin, a new craft beer brewed by Liberation Brewery especially for the tournament.
Craft beer is without a doubt the rising star in the beer drinking world and Sin Bin promises to be a favourite throughout the Championship. It follows the success of Liberation Brewery’s Liberation Blonde which launched last year and has proved extremely popular.
Paul Hurley, Head Brewer at Liberation Brewery says the new beer will be the ideal accompaniment to this weekend’s tournament: ‘For many Islanders, Rugby and beer are the perfect pairing and we wanted to create a session beer that would capture all the excitement of the Six Nations. Craft beers are all about passion, creativity and camaraderie, so it was the perfect choice. The great thing about craft beers is that they combine the lightness of lager with the full flavour of real ale meaning they’re both easy-drinking and great tasting. Sin Bin is a bright, refreshing craft beer and we’re confident it will prove much more popular than the actual sin bin at this weekend’s games.’
Liberation Brewery’s Sin Bin is 3.7% ABV light straw coloured session beer, brewed with the finest pale ale and wheat malts. Its hoppy aroma is derived from American Citra and Simcoe hops. Launching on Saturday to coincide with the launch of the Six Nations, Sin Bin will be available at many Liberation Pubs across Jersey and Guernsey.
