Tickets for the annual Moore Stephens Charity Rugby Dinner on 13 February are now on sale with attendees already looking forward to meeting MC Ian Robertson of BBC Radio Five Live and Lewis ‘Mad Dog’ Moody as guest speaker.
Mr Moody made more than 70 appearances as a flanker for England and was part of Clive Woodward’s 2003 Grand Slam and Rugby World Cup winning squad. He has played in three world cups and is now a regular commentator for BBC Sport.
Guests will also be treated to Josh Daniels performing his ‘jaw-dropping’ musical comedy. Mr Daniels has performed in many major comedy venues across the country including the famous Comedy Store.
The charity dinner has become a mainstay of the social calendar for many sporting islanders.
Main sponsors, Moore Stephens, are supporting the event to help raise money for local charities through a number of competitions, quizzes and silent auctions on the night.
The evening will begin with drinks in the Hotel L’Horizon bar at 7pm with dinner served at 8.15pm and entertainment going on until late. Tickets are priced at £100 per person with dinner included.
Clive Barton, managing partner of Moore Stephens, Jersey said: “We’re proud to continue supporting the charity rugby dinner. It promises to be a very enjoyable evening and we hope that everyone will get in to the spirit and raise some much needed money for charity.
“It is always a popular and successful event so we urge people to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment.’
