Companies in Jersey have the opportunity to help restore and maintain some of the island’s most historic sites and buildings, as well as benefit from new and interesting venues in which to stage their corporate hospitality and sports and social events. Kleinwort Benson recently became one of the businesses to take part in the Corporate Membership Scheme.

The National Trust for Jersey is looking for other companies to take advantage of the scheme, which entitles members, among other benefits, to free entry to Le Moulin de Quétivel, Grève de Lecq Barracks, Hamptonne Countrylife Museum, and the newly refurbished 16 New Street.

Members also benefit from reduced hire rates for some of these venues for corporate events, as well as exclusive social events and free guided walks around some of the sites.

Charles Alluto, Chief Executive of National Trust for Jersey, said: “Membership represents a significant investment in Jersey’s environment and heritage and can form part of a company’s Corporate Social Responsibility activity. We offer a variety of opportunities for volunteer projects, which would be perfect for team building or CSR projects.”

“We welcomed the chance to get involved with the National Trust for Jersey,” said Clive Wright, Head of Private Wealth Management, Offshore for Kleinwort Benson.

“I am a personal member myself, but once Charles showed me round 16 New Street, I could see the benefit of Kleinwort Benson coming on board as a corporate member. The facilities at 16 New Street are perfect for corporate hospitality events and just offers something a little different. We are delighted top be involved and will also be reviewing what we can do from a volunteer perspective.”

Personal annual membership to the National Trust for Jersey for individual is £25, for joint membership (two adults) is £50, for Family Membership (one adult and all children 2-18) is £31 and for two adults and all children (5-18) is £56. Corporate membership is £250 per annum.
