JTC Group has formed alliance partnerships with two firms within the EU to widen its geographical reach and add further to its global expertise.

The alliances are with Trust Company Amsterdam in the Netherlands, which has a strong focus on corporate structuring work, and Aspen Trust Group in Cyprus, which provides a range of services to both private and corporate clients, including structuring cross-border solutions.

Now represented in 18 jurisdictions, these new alliances confirm the JTC Group as one of the largest independent trust and corporate service firms in terms of global reach.

JTC Group Chairman and CEO, Nigel Le Quesne, commented: “Our ‘Alliance Partner’ strategy is to extend our international reach and provide additional services to our worldwide client base. There is a growing trend for clients to seek flexible, multi-jurisdictional solutions and through these two alliances with high quality partners based in EU locations, we will have greater capabilities in servicing new clients in growth markets including Russia.”

Andreas Athinodorou, CEO, Aspen Trust, said: “We are delighted to have secured an alliance with the JTC Group. Their extensive presence in so many jurisdictions offers our clients a wide selection of different structuring options and adds weight to the cross border expertise that we can offer.”

Robert van der Velden, Managing Director, Trust Company Amsterdam, echoed those comments and added: “We will be looking at the increasing opportunities that arise as a result of our alliance and in particular we anticipate that there will be synergy between the services we provide in the Netherlands and the established JTC Group presence across Europe, especially in Luxembourg.”

JTC Group is a multi-jurisdictional, independent provider of private client, corporate and fund services. The Group expanded and enhanced its capabilities in 2013 through a series of acquisitions and alliances which included the purchase of Guernsey based Ardel Fund Services and Ardel Trust Company (Switzerland) SA in Geneva; a strategic alliance with Kensington Trust Group which operates predominantly in Asian markets; the acquisition of Anson Fund Managers Limited, which has offices in Guernsey and the UK and the purchase of a significant book of business from Herald Trust Company in Jersey.
