Jersey Pottery Ceramics Go On Sale In de Gruchy
Jersey Pottery ceramics are to go on sale in one of the Island’s oldest stores.
The full range of ceramics and giftware will be on sale at de Gruchy’s Department Store from Thursday 10 May, trading as Jersey Pottery from within a refurbished area on the ground floor of the store.
Jersey Pottery Director Jonathan Jones said: ‘Although Jersey Pottery is a global company, we are still very much a Jersey firm and are committed to the Island and the 130 staff that we employ here.
‘We are delighted to have been invited to open in de Gruchy and plan to operate the concession alongside our shops in Halkett Place and the Airport, and our online store. Our ceramics are also sold in more then 700 stores in 30 countries, so we are flying the Jersey flag globally.’
Neville Moore, Managing Director of A de Gruchy & Co, said: ‘We are committed to increasing the number of local products in our store, and Jersey Pottery is a natural fit as part of that plan. Many islanders and tourists visit our store and I am sure that, for many of them, it will be their first opportunity to see Jersey Pottery’s well-designed and contemporary ceramics.’
