A number of lucky people could be celebrating something a little ‘eggstra’ this Easter, if they can track down one of 20 specially designed Easter egg cards that will be hidden around central St Helier on Thursday.
Jersey Post will be hiding the blue egg-shaped cards in public locations around town so that islanders can exercise their legs and their sleuthing skills to win one of the prizes on offer.
The five top gifts include a pre-loaded World Travel Currency card from Jersey Post, travel and retail vouchers and an Easter hamper full of tasty products. Everyone who finds one of the strategically placed eggs will receive something from Jersey Post as a thank you for taking part in the egg hunt with a difference.
Catherine Gasston, Marketing Manager at Jersey Post said, “Easter is a special time for many people for lots of different reasons. It‟s also a time when friends and family traditionally send greetings cards or give gifts, and we felt it would be an eggs-ellent opportunity to let people have a bit of fun, and giving them a great reason to get together this Easter.”
The 20 blue eggs will be hidden around town on Thursday morning in easy to find locations. On the back of each „egg‟ will be details of the prize won, and a detachable postcard which finders need to fill in and either post or drop in to the Post Office in Broad Street, where there will be a specially branded post box, to be able to make their claim.
The five top prize-winners will be contacted on Tuesday 22 April and all other winners will receive their thank-you gifts through the post.
