Jersey Heritage Presents ‘Pirates Ahoy!’
Pirates will be taking over at the Maritime Museum from 6 June to 10 June in a five day swashbuckling spectacular sponsored by Jersey law firm, Sinels.
Hosted by Jersey Heritage, ‘Pirates Ahoy!’ invites budding buccaneers to come along and join in an array of pirate-themed activities. Visitors will be able to see pirates show off their impressive fighting skills and hear exciting tales of hidden treasure and seafaring adventure. By getting involved in the games and crafts on offer, children can also complete their pirate log and become an official pirate.
This fantastic event has something to entertain the whole family and visitors are invited to dig out their eye patches, parrots and Jolly Rogers and wear their best costumes to become a pirate for the day.
Martyn White, Business Development and Marketing Director at Sinels said: ‘We are delighted to be sponsoring Pirates Ahoy! This year is the 25th anniversary of Sinels and we are committed to supporting projects and charities that are integral to the community as part of our £25,000 charity drive. We are proud to continue our support of Jersey Heritage, and the work it does to protect the Island’s history for the enjoyment of future generations is invaluable.’
‘Pirates Ahoy!’ will take place at the Maritime Museum 10am to 4pm daily from Wednesday 6 June to Sunday 10 June.
