HAWKSFORD LSS in Zurich has strengthened its team with a senior hire.
Lawyer, Marc Renggli will provide general advice to national and international clients in various aspects of Swiss law and will assist in the setup and administration of civil and common law structures of various jurisdictions,predominantly Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Singapore and New Zealand.
He has 12 years of experience, having worked as a lawyer in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Singapore.

As well as working on business development he will advise professional intermediaries and private clients in various aspects of Swiss law. We are delighted to have him join us as a senior member of the team,’ said Peter Murley, CEO, Hawksford. .
Mr Renggli was admitted to the bar in 2002 in Lucerne, in Switzerland. He began his career at Coutts Bank in Zurich, practising as a financial planner and trust consultant. He then joined a small boutique trust company in Lucerne as a legal consultant. In 2004 he joined LGT Trust Company in Liechtenstein as a relationship manager for Switzerland, Austria and Germany. In 2007 Mr Renggli graduated as estate planner at the European Business School in Germany. In 2009 he moved to Singapore, building up the Asian market for Jeeves Group and he has returned to Switzerland to join Hawksford LSS. .

In June 2011, Hawksford opened its Dubai office and in August 2011, the business acquired Swiss firm L-S&S GmbH, a boutique private wealth law firm, which was founded in Zurich by English lawyers Geoffrey Shindler, Roger Lane-Smith and Tim Urquhart and is now rebranded as Hawksford LSS. 2011 also saw the business appoint its chairman, Philip Taylor, who is helping to facilitate the company’s growth strategy. In January 2012, Hawksford acquired Trustcorp Jersey Limited.
