Hatstone Lawyers assisted the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust in respect of the unveiling of a memorial
Hatstone Lawyers assisted the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust (“ABCT”), a UK registered charity, in respect of the unveiling of a memorial at St Aubin’s Bay in Jersey on 12 September 2013, which coincided with the Jersey International Air Display .
The memorial commemorates the St Aubins Bay Airfield; this was Jersey’s first airfield and was used for four years until the airport was built at St Peter in 1937.
The memorial was unveiled by the Connétable of St Helier and Kenneth P. Bannerman, the Director-General of ABCT and blessed by the Dean of Jersey. A team led by Elisabeth Whittaker and Lucy Egerton-Vernon provided legal advice to ABCT.
