State Street is hosting a careers event at its offices to provide potential new recruits, including University graduates, school leavers and those considering a career in the finance industry, with an introduction to the funds industry business.
The State Street Careers Day, on Friday April 11, will include presentations on the different career opportunities, benefits and training programs available at State Street, a leading provider of financial services with operations in 29 countries including Jersey and Guernsey. Phil McGowan, head of private equity and real estate fund services for EMEA, State Street, will make a presentation and there will be an opportunity for attendees to meet senior management and other members of the teams.
Penelope Hansell, senior talent acquisition recruiter, State Street, said that there were entry and junior level job opportunities likely to arise in the coming months. She commented:
‘The purpose of the day will be to encourage attendees to look at the range of jobs that are available here in Jersey, where opportunities exist to broaden their career horizons by working for an international organisation such as State Street.
