Chart-topping British band Toploader are looking for a local musician to support them when they make their Jersey Opera House debut on Saturday 20th September.
Famous for their 1997 hit single Dancing In The Moonlight, the band will perform for one night only next month and they’re on the scout for a Channel Island star to be their support act for the first half of their gig.
With more than 20 million albums sold world-wide and a string of top 20 chart hits at home and abroad, this will be a wonderful opportunity for a solo artist, or possibly duo, to perform alongside this popular group.
Toploader shot back into the charts last year when they released This Is The Night, which topped the BBC Radio 2 playlist, beating the likes of Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow and Celine Dion to the top spot.
Anyone who would like to audition to be Toploader’s support should send their YouTube or MP3 demos, a photograph and their biography to Mark Lundquist at firstname.lastname@example.org
Entries will be welcomed from musicians from all Channel Islands. Closing date is Friday 12th September.
