EFG Jersey Charity Cycle

Last Saturday riders from the EFG Jersey office together with two brave adventurers from the London office (James Amy & David Johnson), tackled the 50 mile round island challenge in soaring temperatures of 27 degrees.

There was a mix of hardened professionals keen cyclists and some that just like doing their bit for charity, even though their last bike trip involved stabilisers! A very thoughtful route put together by the course designers Ian Osborn and Ken Rondel managed to capture the coastal beauty, the quiet country lanes and not too many of those famous Jersey hills.

All in all, the first EFG Jersey Charity Cycle was a resounding success with hopefully in excess of £1,500 raised for chosen charity, Headway Jersey www.headway.org.je.

David Campbell director of EFG Trust Company said “Given the positive feed back from those who took part we hope to make the event annual and encourage wider participation from the EFG Group”
