The Family Law Department at Hanson Renouf will be hosting a seminar on Thursday June 12th at the Radisson Blu hotel.
The seminar is entitled ‘Divorce: A Guide for Non-Family Law Advisors’ and will equip delegates with the essential information required to support people through family breakdown; from an ancillary angle to an emotional one. The second part of the afternoon will focus on the divorce process itself and will provide clarification on the non-court based options available.
The event will appeal to anyone with an interest in this field, be it professional or personal, but will be of particular interest to advisors and mediators, school teachers, GPs, members of the Police, Human Resources professionals, accountants, trustees, family offices and all those with a role supporting families.
Vincent Obbard, former Registrar of the Family Division of the Royal Court, will chair the seminar. He will be joined by members of the Hanson Renouf Family Law team as well as other well respected and knowledgeable speakers, including:
- Sir Peter Singer, former High Court Judge
- Ruth Smallacombe, Mediator and Family Consultant
- Advocate Barbara Corbett, Partner and Head of Family Law at Hanson Renouf
Registration and coffee will start at 2.15pm and the welcome and introductions will commence at 2.30pm, the seminar is scheduled to finish at 5.00pm.
