Consultation on Grouville roads schemes

Transport and Technical Services (TTS) and the Jersey Electricity Company (JEC) will be available at Grouville Parish Hall on Thursday 18 October to discuss various forthcoming roads projects with parishioners.

During 2013, TTS plans to implement a traffic calming scheme at Ville és Renaud on La Rue a Don and also to resurface La Rue a Don. In advance of these works the JEC will be laying ducts for the third electricity cable link to France on Rue a Don. TTS and JEC have been working together on these schemes for some time and now want to give the public an opportunity to find out more and comment.

TTS has previously consulted with the residents who live immediately adjacent to Ville és Renaud on a scheme to introduce traffic calming at the junction and approaches, as part of the Eastern Cycle Route. Following that consultation a number of minor alterations to the traffic calming scheme have been made.

TTS and the JEC would now like to invite all parishioners of Grouville to drop in at the Parish Hall at anytime between 3pm and 8pm on Thursday 18 October, when members of the project teams for the schemes will be available to talk about them.
