COLLINS Stewart Wealth Management’s new office in Jersey has been officially opened by the Lieutenant Governor, General Sir John McColl.
The wealth management company moved into the new office at 37 The Esplanade in December, having previously been based in the building next door.
The Lieutenant Governor was joined by Senator Philip Ozouf, Treasury Minister, Laura Rowley, States Treasurer and Chairman of the JFSC, Clive Jones at the launch which took place on Wednesday 23 January.
As well as unveiling a plaque commemorating the opening, the Lieutenant Governor was also given a tour of the new office, met with heads of departments and enjoyed a lunch in the board room with senior members of staff.
“The Collins Stewart office is impressive and it is a confident and welcome investment in the future of Jersey,” said General Sir John McColl.
“We’re so pleased that the Lieutenant Governor, Senator Ozouf, Ms Rowley and Mr Jones were available to attend the official opening of the office,” said Grahame Lovett, CEO of Collins Stewart Wealth Management Offshore.
“The event was a great opportunity to give them a tour of our new premises and to update them on the work Collins Stewart Wealth Management has been doing in the island and internationally.
“Although we haven’t moved far from our old office, which was based next door at 38 The Esplanade, this new office is a significant financial investment for Collins Stewart in the island and shows commitment to a good working environment for our 46 staff and numerous visiting clients.
“The new office is 2,300 square feet bigger than our previous one and the space is designed to be flexible which will allow for around 25% growth if needed.”
