The jackpot for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has risen to £630,000 following another surge in ticket sales.

Since going on sale in October, tickets have been selling well with an updated total being announced almost daily! The first prize will continue to rise in the run up to the draw, which takes place next week, in line with the number of tickets sold.

The ‘have fun, win big, do good’ strapline of this year’s Channel Islands Christmas Lottery campaign appears to be resonating with the general public – Jersey Charities are celebrating today’s new total as they rely on grants made possible from the proceeds of the Lottery.

Tickets for the Channel Islands Christmas Lottery cost £1 and are available from retailers across the Island. To help people find their nearest Lottery retailer, keep up to date with the rising first prize and find out more about the charities that benefit from the Lottery, Lottery organisers in Jersey are encouraging residents to visit their Channel Islands Lottery in Jersey Facebook page.
In addition to the rising first prize, Islanders can also win a £50,000 second prize, a £25,000 third prize and forty five £500 prizes, as well as instant cash prizes of up to £5,000. The winning numbers will be announced on 20th December 2012.
