Chain Gang Jersey

As part of the month-long Customer Service Awards, the Jersey public had the chance to win one of five goodie bags stuffed with gifts from the event’s sponsors last Friday… and all they had to do is eat chocolate!

A team of volunteers from sponsors HSBC and the event organisers hit St Helier and formed a human chain along King Street giving out chocolates and other goodies.

And in true Willy Wonka tradition there were five golden ticket chocolate bars that contained a little extra. The lucky few picked up some fantastic gifts including Norman’s vouchers, £200 of foreign currency from Jersey Post and some great gadgets courtesy of SURE.

With less than a week left for public nominations it was a high profile push to get those last few votes in.

Julie Todd of event organisers, Todd and Associates, explains:

“We wanted to do something fun and with high impact to engage the public. You couldn’t miss us if you were in town on Friday and our team of volunteers did a fantastic job. I am amazed at the number of nominations we have already received and hopefully Friday’s bit of fun will generate even more.”

To vote, or for more information visit www.thecustomerserviceawards.com or text your nomination to 07700 376001.

Nominations close THIS FRIDAY at midday.

Everyone is welcome to attend the awards ceremony at 5.30pm on Friday 5 October in Royal Square.

Corporate categories also remain open until Friday. So if you are a company with a Customer Service story to tell, you have time to complete your submission form that you can download from the website.
