Celebrations at Side-on!

Time for another celebration at Side-on! This month Steve Hutchins passed his CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

Steve, who has worked within the design and marketing industry in various ways over the years, both as a Graphic Designer and more heavily as Side-on’s lead Account Director, felt it would be beneficial to expand his knowledge and fundamentals of the many facets of the marketing process.

Having been at Side-on for nine years, and although gaining valuable experience along the way, Steve decided to take up the diploma to enable him to provide further support to his clients. Steve can now offer a greater depth of marketing capability and advice, guiding his clients in their brand communications.

This is the second CIM qualification completion announcement Side-on has made in as many months. Trainee client account manager Anthea Michael, also passed her CIM certificate recently, and as a result they both strengthen the company’s marketing knowledge as a whole.

Steve’s background in Graphic Design, having graduated from UWE Bristol with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design in 2000, provides vital insight into the design process when advising clients in his role as Account Director.

Steve has said about passing his diploma, “I’m overjoyed to have passed the CIM diploma because the CIM as a body are held in high esteem as are the qualifications. It’s a great way to develop my skills and I’m looking forward to putting what I have learnt into practice. I may look to extend my knowledge further after a bit of a break from juggling my studies amongst work and being a dad.”
