Calligo, Channel Islands’ most technically advanced and comprehensive cloud service provider, today announced Nick Arnold has joined Calligo as Chief Security Officer (CSO).
“Nick brings a wealth of experience in security and compliance, two areas that Calligo views as the most important aspects of business operations. Nick’s appointment is key to ensuring we continue to meet, and improve, the standards that our clients expect from a leading cloud service provider,” commented Julian Box, CEO, Calligo. “In this newly created position, Nick will oversee the effective running of all security services and policies of Calligo’s cloud operations and he will also be in charge of ensuring Calligo meets its ISO 9001 and 27001 standards, as well as the numerous cloud security standards.”
Prior to joining Calligo, Nick has held a variety of IT management and Information Security roles at RBC Global Private Banking in both Jersey and Toronto. Previously, he held a number of technical and managerial roles at NatWest and Coutts Offshore Banking.

Nick holds a number of professional accreditations, such as Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) – of which he is the only holder in the Channel Islands, and only 1 of 21 in the UK – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). He is also an active board member of the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace & Security Science (CSCSS) advisory board.
