Calligo, the most technically advanced and secure offshore cloud service provider, today announced it is the only Channel Island finalist in the Storage, Virtualisation, Cloud (SVC) Awards in the Cloud Company of the Year category.
The SVC Awards reward the products, projects and services as well as honour companies and teams operating in the cloud, virtualisation and storage sectors. The SVC Awards recognise the achievements of end-users, channel partners and vendors alike.
“The industry has once again showed its broad support for these awards, now in their 3rd year, with entries received from a broad range of vendors, channel organisations and end-users. The eligibility judging for the 2013 SVC awards has now taken place and after thorough discussions among our panel of judges the shortlist has been confirmed,” commented Jason Holloway, Publisher, Angel Business Communications, the organisers of the awards.
Voting opens 11th October until 8th November. For anyone voting in all 23 categories the organisers are offering the chance to win a KINDLE Fire reading device.
“We are thrilled to be shortlisted in the highly competitive category of Cloud Company of the Year, and amongst some big industry names such as Cisco, EMC and VMware in the overall awards,” stated Julian Box, CEO and co-founder, Calligo. “As the winner will be chosen solely on votes, we sincerely hope our clients, colleagues and business associates across the Channel Islands will vote for Calligo.”
