A local bespoke kitchen design business is continuing a year of expansion this week with the opening of a brand new, fully renovated showroom in St Ouen.
The new Paul Haslam showroom is the result of a complete redesign at the business’s headquarters at Les Huriaux Farm in St Ouen and is being officially opened this Saturday 20th October. To celebrate the launch, the public are being invited to view the new modern space between 10am and 5pm, when two brand new striking kitchen designs by Paul Haslam will also be unveiled.
The new Jersey showroom is the latest development in a year of expansion for Paul Haslam and part of a significant two-year investment programme in its premises and state-of-the-art machinery. It also follows on from the opening in April this year of its brand new East London showroom at Metropolitan Wharf in Wapping, a recently restored seven storey Grade II listed Victorian warehouse located on the North bank of the River Thames.
In addition, brother and sister James and Kate Haslam have also recently joined the family business, which has grown to currently employ a total of 15 staff.
Established 26 years ago, Paul Haslam is a high-end bespoke furniture designer and manufacturer based in Jersey. The business is family run and all furniture is manufactured in workshops situated within an old granite farm complex in Jersey.
James Haslam, Director at Paul Haslam, said:
“This year has been a period of real expansion for us. Driven by growing demand for high-end but good value kitchen, bedroom, living room and even full-house furniture projects in Jersey, Guernsey and the UK, we have opened a new studio in London and invested heavily in cutting edge machinery, our facilities and our team of highly skilled craftsmen.
“The new showroom in Jersey is the culmination of this expansion and we are really excited about welcoming people at its launch this weekend, when we will also be unveiling two new ultra-modern kitchen designs.”
