Elizabeth Ballinger appointed as Hotel Manager at the Atlantic Hotel

The Atlantic Hotel is delighted to welcome new Hotel Manager, Elizabeth Ballinger, to join its award-winning team.

Elizabeth, originally from Bath, takes up the role of Hotel Manager after relocating to Jersey from the south west of England where she was most recently General Manager of the Fowey Hall Hotel. Elizabeth began her career in her home town of Bath at The Bath Spa Hotel before moving on to the prestigious Royal Crescent Hotel where she rose to the position of Deputy General Manager.

Commenting on the appointment, Atlantic Hotel Owner and Managing Director Patrick Burke said, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Elizabeth Ballinger to The Atlantic Hotel. Elizabeth has worked at a number of highly regarded establishments and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be invaluable in her new role.’

Elizabeth has a strong Human Resources background having started her career as PA to the Regional General Manager at The Bath Spa & Francis Hotels in 1998. She has a solid administrative foundation, crucial for the smooth running of a hotel and a particular skill at engaging with people.

Elizabeth explained ‘The team at The Atlantic Hotel are the most welcoming I’ve met anywhere. I am genuinely impressed by all of the staff and their passion for the property in which they work. It is evident that they love their jobs and are very proud to work at The Atlantic.’

Elizabeth has settled into island life well and is looking forward to enjoying the stunning Jersey beaches and walks that surround The Atlantic Hotel with her husband and family. She is passionate about history and was particularly drawn to the rich and unique heritage that Jersey enjoys. One of Elizabeth’s first ambitions is to become a member of both the National Trust for Jersey and Jersey Heritage.
