The Jersey office of offshore law firm, Appleby, has announced that Marc Guillaume is to become the Jersey Head of its Private Client & Trusts Group with effect from 1 April 2014.
Marc, who lives in St Saviour and has worked as a Jersey Advocate for over 15 years, has been at Appleby since 2009. He takes over from Naomi Rive who recently left Appleby to join Coutts as Chief Trust Officer.

Marc’s expertise covers both contentious and non-contentious trust law and his clients include high net worth individuals, their private offices, international private banks and trust companies. He has a wealth of experience, acting for a wide range of settlors and beneficiaries as well as for professional and individual trustees. He also has considerable knowledge in the establishment, operation and restructuring of all types of offshore arrangements for private clients.
