As we move quickly into 2013, luxury stationery company Ananya has released a unique series of beautifully designed cards created especially to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Snake, with profits from three unique designs directly supporting Jersey based conservation Charity – Durrell.
Commenting on this, the latest addition to the bespoke range of products produced by Ananya, owner Vaishali Shah said “We decided to produce some distinctive cards incorporating the snake and have used a variety of creative executions resulting in a range of innovative designs. We have designed two series of cards to celebrate the Year of the Snake; the national collection features a bold red palette, inspired by warmth and representative of good fortune and joy in Chinese culture. We have also created a vey special charity collection in striking tones of lime, tangerine, citrus yellow and azure blue, all colours which reflect positivity and renewal.”
The beautiful cards will be available from the visitor centre at Durrell and from the Ananya website at www.ananyacards.com and cost £2.50 per card, with 10% on each sale going directly to the charity.
Kelly Barker, Head of Marketing and Commercial at Durrell said, “Durrell’s mission is saving species from extinction and one of the many animals we work with is the Saint Lucia Racer Snake. A recent assessment of this Critically Endangered reptile has shown that as few as eighteen individuals remain in the wild. The revenue generated from Ananya’s wonderful cards will assist us in helping to secure the future of this, the world’s rarest snake.”
